Why we built this
We got tired of scattered calculator tools that either wanted your email, showed intrusive ads, or just didn't work properly on mobile. So we built what we wanted: fast, accurate calculators that work on any device, no signup required.
calc.forex launched in 2024. Every calculator is built with real trading scenarios in mind, follows the standard formulas used by MT4, MT5, and cTrader, and is updated when conventions change.
Our approach
Three things matter to us:
- Accuracy: Every formula lives in one tested calculation engine and every result shows its math. Reference exchange rates are filled in automatically and you can replace them with your broker's quote; contract sizes can be matched to your broker's specification.
- Speed: No page reloads. Calculations happen instantly in your browser as you type.
- Privacy: Calculations run in your browser. Your inputs are kept in the page address so you can share a calculation, but we don't store them or any trading data.
How we make money
Transparency matters. We earn money through affiliate partnerships with forex brokers. If you click a broker link and open an account, we might get a commission. This doesn't cost you anything extra.
Each partner's regulators are listed in the broker comparison table and on its review page. Some partners hold only offshore licences, which give you weaker protection than an FCA, ASIC or CySEC licence, so check the regulator before you deposit. Our calculators are free and their results are never affected by these partnerships.
The team
calc.forex is built by traders and developers who understand both sides—the frustration of manual calculations and the technical challenges of building reliable tools. We're a small team spread across Europe.
