What we collect
calc.forex is designed with privacy in mind. We don't require registration, and our calculators work entirely in your browser. Here's what we do and don't collect:
- Calculator inputs: Never stored on our servers. Calculations happen in your browser. Your inputs are written into the page address so you can bookmark or share a calculation; they are removed from the address before any analytics event is sent.
- Analytics: We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views (page, referrer, device type, country). It does not use cookies and does not identify individuals.
- Cookies and local storage: We set no cookies. Your browser's local storage remembers your account currency and the time zone you pick on the market hours page; this never leaves your device.
Third-party services
We use a few third-party services:
- Vercel: Hosts the website and provides anonymous analytics
- Reference rates: Our server fetches exchange rates from the ECB (via Frankfurter) and exchangerate-api.com, metal prices from gold-api.com and crypto prices from CoinGecko. Your browser never contacts these services and no personal data is sent to them.
Affiliate links
Some broker reviews contain affiliate links. If you sign up through these links, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This helps keep the calculators free. Each broker's regulators are listed on its review page; always check the regulator and do your own research before opening an account.
Your rights
Since we don't collect personal data, there's nothing to delete or export. If you have questions, reach out at contact@calc.forex.
